Chronology of cameras Cimo
Traduction de Manuel M
CIMO means Compagnie Industrielle de Mécanique et d'Optique.
It was created in with Lons-le-Saunier by Mr. Faivre, Chief technical officer of SEM in Aurec, until June 8th, 1951. He died suddenly on January 2nd, 1960, shortly after the launch of Cimo.
Compared to Orénac L 235, there are few variations: No button of focusing ring, no number being reproduced on the flash shoe, small pastille engraved “CIMO” and genuine leather sleeving.
The socket synchronization is put back on the side not to obstruct the centring.
This specimen of Cimo bears N ° 571132. Obviously, this number does not correspond to an equivalent production.
