Agfa has manufactured in Germany and other countries a series of 6 x 9 cm box cameras whose only name is a number.
They are very classic, made either of cardboard or metal. They have a meniscus lens, usually focusless. Very simple, they have, for most of them, no settings.

The Synchro Box is named as such because it has a specific pin layout for connecting a flash of the brand. This feature is visible above the camera.
This model was manufactured in France, which allowed for certain import taxes to be avoided at the time. The plastic handle is labeled with Agfa-Box. It is made of sheet metal and covered with a synthetic material. The back door is held closed by a small hole that fits onto a pin. The flexibility of the metal body allows the pin to be lowered to release it from the hole.
In 1956, this camera cost 2320 francs.
