Chronology of cameras Mamiya

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

This telemetric camera is automatic, i.e. that speed and opening are regulated by the CdS cell.
Lens is Mamiya Sekor 2,8/38 mm. However, the PhotoCineGuide catalogue indicates it as having a focal distance of 28 mm. May be it is about a mystake.

On same C catalogue, speeds are given of 1/30 to 1/500 of second, whereas the finder shows a graduation of 1/30 to 1/650 of second. Perhaps the catalogue announced a camera which had not passed yet between the hands of the salesmen.

A flash, called Mamiya 1600B, is dedicated for this camera. It has a number-guide of 16. The contact is done directly by the hot shoe.

A witness of flash is visible in the finder, with the bottom of the scale of the aperture.

In 1977, the camera cost 788 francs, and the flash, 93 francs.
