Chronology of cameras Inconnue
The Pet is a small aluminum camera. Being from an unknown manufacturer, it can be dated to the 1950s because it is nearly identical to the Hallow mentioned in Michael Pritchard's book "Spy Camera," which bears the "MIOJ" mark (indicating production until 1951). It has a very rectangular shape and is quite simple, lacking sophisticated settings. It features two viewfinders, one fixed and one sports viewfinder. The shutter speed selector is marked as S.B.I. for Stop, Bulb, Instant.
The negatives measure 14 x 14 mm and are captured on 17.5 mm film. It is a fixed-focus camera with a single aperture of f/4.5.
