Chronology of cameras Ormaf

This camera was intended to produce passport photos on Film-Pack Polaroid Pack 100. While comparing with Balcar, one will find certain similarities, especially by the thick and granulous plastic body.
It is equipped with four lenses without focusing “Luxlight 1:5,6 F=128 mm” with three diaphragms on disk with holes: 8 - 11 - 16, and only one speed being able to vary a little bit by tension of the spring actuating the guillotine drop shutter. This adjustment knob is marked “- 100 +” what probably indicates the shutter speed.
The shutter release is done without cocking, by pulling up the lateral trigger.

There are two viewfinders, one with height of chest giving an image on glass ground, and the other on the side of the Albada type.

Synchronization flash and nut of foot to the thread of the Congress.
The images make 39 mm wide. The row of the top makes it possible to obtain some exposures with 49 mm height, whereas that of bottom gives 57 mm height.
The Italian company Ormaf (of Padoue) said to have been the first to have provided this kind of camera in 1962, and still produced cameras of the same kind and accessories of lighting.
It does not appear in the book “Made in Italy”.
