Chronology of cameras Astre
The Chambre carrée modèle P is made of walnut with a varnished finish. It is a long-extension camera (minimum: 6 cm, maximum: 50 cm). It features vertical shift, and the engraving depicts a vertical tilt. The camera is equipped with a spirit level.
It is sold without a lens or shutter.
It is available in three sizes: 13 x 18, 18 x 24, and 24 x 30.
For an additional cost, it was possible to obtain it with double tilt.
This brand belonged to Maurice Ledoux, the successor of EM. Target and Ledoux.
The Buckler lens brand was owned by Target.
