Chronology of cameras Astre
The Modern model is a triple-extension camera made of semi-gloss walnut. The bellows are made of leather. The front part can be lowered to accommodate a wide-angle lens.
It is available in 11 x 15 size (No. 601) and 13 x 18 size (No. 602).
It is also available in varnished or covered mahogany in the same sizes (No. 603 and 604).
This brand belonged to Maurice Ledoux, the successor of EM. Target and Ledoux.
The Buckler lens brand was owned by Target.
