Chronology of cameras Astre 

The chambre folding modèle D is compact in size. It can be used with a plate or a Film-Pack (6.5 x 9).
It is made of walnut, covered in leather. The bellows are also made of leather.
Focusing is done by rack and pinion, with an aluminum slider.

It could be delivered with one of the three lenses commonly used by Astre: rectilinear Buckler (No. 153), Balbreck (No. 154), or anastigmatic Buckler (No. 155).
