Chronology of cameras Krugener

This horizontal Delta Teddy is a small plate camera covered with black leather. It has a very handy format.
With the beautiful appearance of the bellows and nickel plated metal parts, this century-old does not show its age.
The shutter is a Delta which can be triggered manually or remotely by a bulb (pneumatic). It offers the time exposures, some slow speeds (1/2, 1/5, 1/10) and goes to 1/100. The unmarked lens, opens  to 1: 9; it is probably a double anastigmat made by Krugener (mentioned by McKeown for this opening). The focus length is 180 mm. The vertical and the horizontal shift  are possible. The bellows is brown leather, decorated in red on the corners, and with a border, in order to give the impression of reinforced corners. Inside, the bellows is covered with black fabric.
A rotating external viewfinder, nickel plated, rather massive and very bright, is set on the right of the bed. The struts of the latter are simple but robust; their shape prevents them from piercing the bellows. The inner surface of the bed is treated to imitate mahogany and a small ivory scale is set to adjust the distance (∞ to 2 m.). The focusing is carried out once the bellows is deployed manually, using a small wheel dragging the single extension; this same wheel is used to block by screwing the bed in the closed position. Inside the case, for some unknown reason, is on a round wafer, a large Roman numeral III.
This camera is equipped with hooks on the back for attaching different plate holders (two different slots). Seen on an illustration: a deep back, deporting plates several centimeters back, probably allowed to perform scientific work or mount optics requiring a greater draw.
The body includes, at the base and to the side, a thread for tripod (Congress).
On the device, in addition to the stationary belt, screwed, there are two square rings for attaching a longer belt. The unit was acquired in a hard case, probably original, covered with a sturdy greenish canvas (military type). This unit is numbered 168821 stamped on the outside of the bed, below the manufacturer logo (mountain with a sun as a background) .
