This model is different from the version with Zeiss Tessar lens or the other, without focus adjustment.
The similarity with the Vest Pocket Kodak is clear. The loading of the film is as in the Vest pocket by removing the right side of the camera. However, unlike the Vest pocket, the film reel holders are fixed to the side and therefore need to be moved outside for the loading and unloading of the film which is much more convenient. There is also a sports viewfinder which is missing on the Vest Pocket.
There is no distances adjustment. The state of the facade is bad on this item, but one can recognize the AGC logo relevant to the Gauthier shutters.
Its facade with its cracked paint, its rounded foot and his name made of elegant scrolls give to the Piccolette a particular aspect less classical than those of the Vest Pocket. Obviously, the Vest Pocket Autographic takes the advantage with his carved stylus.
