Chronology of cameras Bencini
The Bencini Erno is a very simple folding camera (single speed, single aperture, no protection against double exposures), inspired by models manufactured by Bencini before the war.
It is not common because, after World War II, Bencini quickly specialized in aluminum cameras, which were easy to manufacture with the appropriate molds, sturdy, and inexpensive.
The presence of English text on the camera, as well as its appearance in American catalogs, may suggest that it was intended for the United States.
