Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon
Ernemann fut le premier constructeur de ce petit box (Box Film-K). En 1925, il est au format 18 x 24 mm. En 1926, année de la création de Zeiss Ikon, le format change pour devenir 22 x 33, sur film 35 mm non perforé. Il subsistera au catalogue jusqu'en 1930. Même sur la version portant le logo Zeiss Ikon autour de l'objectif, le logo Ernemann subsiste sur le côté de l'appareil.
Le catalogue Tiranty de 1928 le décrit comme ayant un corps en métal, verni noir. A contrario, Mc Keown l'évoque comme étant fabriqué en bois gainé.
A partir de 1931, c'est le Baby Box qui le remplace.
