On appelle ce type de chambre "Touriste" ou " de voyage". Porst ne déroge pas à cette règle, puisque Reise signifie en allemand Voyage.
Elle est fabriquée en acajou verni. Le soufflet est en calicot, avec des angles en cuir. L'ébénisterie est renforcée par des pièces en laiton. La base est constituée de deux parties coulissantes, manipulables par des pignons. La partie verticale arrière est basculable et peut pivoter.
