Si on fait abstraction de la forme de la proéminence qui entoure l'objectif, nous obtenons un appareil très proche du Foto-Quelle Revuematic 222-x. Les deux modèles n'étant pas au catalogue au même moment, on peut supposer que l'appareil original à l'origine du Revuematic est une évolution esthétique de celui ayant servi de base au Porst.
La patte de Haking n'est pas bien loin.
