Chronology of cameras Fuji
The Fuji Auto-8 QD was an improved version of the Auto-7 of 1983. This model has DX decoding and a date back as standard. "Tate Yoko" means that the date is imprinted in a different place in the frame when the camera is horizontal or vertical.
The camera is switched on by opening the shutters over the lens with the button on the lower left. The camera is turned off and the shutters closed again by turning a ring around the lens barrel.
There are two diodes in the viewfinder; a green diode confirms focus acheived, and a red one indicates when to engage the flash.
