Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon
In 1951, Zeiss Ikon proposed a new box camera, the code of which was 56/2, while the Box-Tengor (55/2), which replaced the Box-Tengor (54/2), continued to be offered to the sale.
The two models look very similar, but the 56/2 has a lens opening at f / 9, making it the most enhanced of all Box-Tengors. Zeiss Ikon proposes it in two finish levels: either with a Frontar lens, or with a Frontar Achromat (coated).
