Chronology of cameras Focal
This is exactly the same camera as the Kinon 860s. It is one of a number of cheap cameras of unusual proportions which followed he release of the first Canon Snappy in 1982. They were all made in Taiwan, and probably by Premier. The cell serves only to tell the operator when to use flash.
Focal was a brand of Kmart department stores in Australia and New Zealand (not associated with Kmart USA). The same camera was sold under the names Yumeka and Tudor Photo Master F35. Very similar cameras were sold as the Premier PC-200, and the Continental 1050.
