Chronology of cameras Voigtlander
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
This Bessamatic was built of 1959 to 1962 (*). Its launch was very noticed, not because of the camera itself, but especially because it could be associated the first zoom in the world; Zoomar 36-82 mm.
It is about one 35 mm reflex camera with prism, with interchangeable lenses. The range of these lenses went from 35 mm to 135 mm. The focusing is done on a frosted ring or with a stigmometer. The exposure is controlled by a coupled cell. The rings of settings speed and aperture are coupled. Their setting made move two red cursors on the distance scale, which allows an easy reading depth of field.
The shutter is a Synchro-Compur 1 second to the 1/500 secondes.
The lens present is Skoparex 3,4/35mm. The camera is equipped here with a finder with bevel gear Box.
One crowned beautiful animal!
(*) since 1963, it will be replaced by Bessamatic known as “Deluxe” on which the indications speed and aperture are readable in the finder.
