Chronology of cameras Foca

OPL ended its camera manufacture at a high point (ou "in an apotheosis") in producing what is still one of the most beautiful embodiments of French photography. Its principle characteristics, which allow it to be differentiated from other Foca camera, and in particular from the other Universal models, is the huge rangefinder-viewfinder (hence, the "C"). The top controls are black, whereas up to this point they had been chrome. This model was produced in small volumes of approximately 2000 units.
This specimen was purchased in June, 1966 and it bears the serial number 1001639, as indicated by the Warranty card.
The TELEOPLAR 20 cm can be used only with the extension tube (or with the reflex darkroom). On this last, a collapsible finder, accompanied by a metal part is to screw in the eyepiece. The small hole of this part and the finder of the tube extender-piece make it possible to restrict the field of viewfinding with what is taken by the 200 mm.
