Chronology of cameras Garcin
Although bearing a label plate "Garcin", this unit is actually manufactured by Krugener the brand of which may be seen inside the body. This is a camera for horizontal film. An adapter allows for taking pictures on 9x12 plates, and this accessory is probably made by Garcin.
The camera is entirely made of wood. The body is sheathed with leather, but the front panel that hides a two speeds guillotine shutter is uncovered. The metal parts are brass plated.
The iris diaphragm is scaled 12, 16, 24, 36.
