Chronology of cameras KW
Heavy and sturdy SLR camera, the Praktica FX3 was produced in the GDR by the VEB Kamera-Werke in Dresden from 1956 to 1958. It is quite simple, the raising of the mirror is done manually while cocking, with the use of a large knob: no quick cocking lever!
The reflex sight is via a waist level viewfinder. Image is therefore reversed. For this reason, the viewfinder hood opens to release a sporting viewfinder.
It receives M42 lenses.
The fabric curtain type shutter provides a speed range from 1 second to 1/500 second (plus bulb).
