Chronology of cameras Gap

In addition to the production of well-known 3 x 4 and 6 x 9 box cameras, Georges Paris also produced in smaller quantities 6 x 9 cameras with a general shape reminiscent of the Ultra-Fex. However, unlike the Ultra-Fex, these cameras were not made of plastic but rather of metal sheeting. On the front face, you can find the geometric patterns that were typical of GAP (Georges Paris). The shutter release is located on the left side of the front face. Just above it is a selector switch between "Bulb" and "Instant," and to the right is an aperture selector (with two settings).

The choices "Bulb/Instant" and "Normal/Sun" are engraved on the octagonal front face, but curiously, they are also present on the rectangular part that forms the front of the extending tube and serves as a support for the octagonal part (are you following me so far?). So, embossed into the metal, you have "B-I" behind the "Bulb/Instant" selector and "0-4" on the side of "Sun" and "0-6" on the side of "Normal." It's unclear what these numbers correspond to.

There is a flash sync socket at the top right of the front face.

It is impossible to release the shutter when the tube is fully retracted because a protrusion connected to the camera body blocks the shutter release. However, if you don't fully extend the tube, you'll encounter the same problem as with an Ultra-Fex; the photo will be blurry.
