Chronology of cameras Busch Emil
The Cycam, short for "cyclist camera," is supposed to be a easily transportable and handheld camera, and indeed, it is quite compact for a 4 x 5" format camera (10 x 12.5 cm). Additionally, it can use either plates or 103 film, the one designed for the Kodak Bulls Eye No. 4.
Its sports viewfinder with frame, however, is not very practical, being inconvenient to deploy. The lens has a focal length indication of 61/2", or 165 mm.
This beautiful collector's item bears a striking resemblance to the Krugener Delta Cartridge Camera, which is not surprising since Busch establishments in London also imported cameras from this German brand.
