The Evarax A is a rare variant of the Petal. It has an octagonal shape and is engraved with a floral design. However, this particular specimen has a unique engraving unlike any of the models that can be seen in literature or on the web, making it particularly desirable. Like its counterparts, it only allows for a choice of two speeds: B or 1/25, which can be selected using the round front-facing selector. The brand MIOJ (Made In Occupied Japan) is engraved on the trigger, unlike the round Petal where it is engraved on the rear face. This marking was no longer used starting from 1952.
