The MSX 1000 has the same features as the DSX 1000 but only the spot measurement of the light is available.
The DSX 1000 has a second "atmosphere" measurement of the light at full aperture.
The shutter of these devices ranges from 1 second to 1 / 1000th of a second, + B. The 1000 from the camera model name comes from 1/1000.
In spot measurement, a CdS cell measures the light of 6% of the image on the mirror. On the DSX, the "Atmosphere" measurement is performed on the entire image by two cells in the prism.
Compatible lenses must have a 42 mm diameter screw mount. Only Sekkor lenses ensure the transmission of the full aperture.
