The plate changing system of this manufacturer is unique in that in the magazine, the block of plates in reserve does not show their face to the lens, but their edge,;their number is such that they form a stack the height of which is equal to that of one of them; the result is that, when you open the drawer, the plate at the top can move against the block, and when one pushes it , it comes to face the lens. When the drawer is pulled for the second time, the plate falls into the bottom of the box and slips under the block when it is pushed while the next plate takes its place alongside the block.
