Chronology of cameras Kodak
From the first version of No. 4 Cartridge, the same camera will be available in many versions, lens and shutter combinations.
This version has a pneumatically actuated trigger system which is located under the lens, unlike the first version, where it was on the side. This feature allows to date this model from November 1900 to 1903.
Compared to the first version, the production looks more industrial and a part of the woodwork has been replaced by aluminum and nickel plated parts. A gearing and a rail facilitating the focusing appeared. An additional extension by means of a rack and pinion system allows shooting from 47 cm (18 inches).
