Chronology of cameras Asanuma

This camera was used by studio photographers to simultaneously capture four passport-sized photos. The use of a Polaroid back allowed for rapid delivery of these photos to the client.

The four lenses are identical, and there is a single shutter shared among them.

The viewfinder is very bright and features a silhouette to aid in framing for a passport photo. The focus is fixed, with the correct distance corresponding to the subject fitting within the silhouette. The shutter speed is fixed, and the camera is intended to be used with a flash.

There is also a version with six lenses. Additionally, this camera can be found under the King brand, a subsidiary of Asanuma.
