Chronology of cameras Nagel

There were only two models of the Ranca camera, the 46 and the 46/1. Each of these models had several variants depending on the shutter type, but the main characteristics remained the same.
The camera is a simplified and less luxurious version of the Pupille. It uses 3 x 4 cm format film on 127 film rolls, and it has a very compact design. The shutter and lens are mounted on an extendable tube with a helicoid mechanism. The lens is a Nagel Anastigmat 4.5/5 cm, and focusing is achieved by rotating the front lens element.
The viewfinder is fixed to the camera body and is a folding type, with an optical viewfinder in the case of the 46/1.

The 46 model could be found with either the Nagel or Pronto S shutter, while the 46/1 had the Pronto and Ibsor shutters as options.

Cet exemplaire a un obturateur Pronto S (avec retardateur)  mais n'a pas de viseur optique, c'est donc un 46/0
