Chronology of cameras Huttig
The ‘Lloyd’ are the variety of box and folding film cameras made by Hüttig between 1904 and 1909. This particular camera is from around 1905-6 and was designed for 8.3 x 10.8 cm exposures on rollfilm or 9 x 12 cm plates. It is probably a model 564.
The body is covered by grained leather and the single extension bellows are red. It has a brilliant finder and the front standard has horizontal and vertical movements.
The shutter is an automatic Bausch and Lomb with I, B and T positions. The lens is an Emil Busch R.O.J.A. Aplanat with 6 cm of focal length and maximum aperture of 6.
