Chronology of cameras Agfa
The Selecta is so named because once the shutter speed is set, the aperture is automatically selected by the exposure meter. The aperture value appears in the viewfinder. The meter is adjustable for sensitivities ranging from 10 to 250 ASA.
The shutter is of an uncommon model, the Prontor-Matic P. The viewfinder is collimated.
The overall shape of the camera, although a bit heavy, fits well within the range of Agfa cameras of the time.
This model will be available in a motorized form, the Selecta M, and in the form of a reflex camera, the Selectaflex.
