The LA20 is an upgraded version of the LA-10, with the maximum aperture of the fixed-focus 35mm lens increased from 4.5 to 3.8.
It remains a basic compact camera, entirely made of plastic and not automatic at all. The LA20 only requires two AA batteries to power the flash. Film advance and shutter cocking are operated by a knurled button, and rewinding is manual with a crank (engagement release by a push button on the base).
When the sliding cover that protects the lens is closed, it reveals a sensitivity adjustment slider on its right with two positions: 100/200 and 400 ISO. When open, there is another slider under the lens that controls the flash charging.
This camera is so simple that I almost forgot to mention it also has a button on top to take the picture...
