Perfex de Luxe belongs to a series of 35 mm camera, equipped with a uncoupled rangefinder. Some , may be all, have an interchangeable lens. They are equipped with a focal plan shutter.
Except for first model, out of bakelite, they have all the same air of family.
It could be bought with a f2,8 lens, or more expensive, a f 2 lens.
The large crown located at the base of the lens makes it possible to regulate the distance. The speed regulation is done while drawing upwards, then while turning the large button, around the shutter release. Oddly, speed 1/500 is between the 1/200 and the 1/250. Slow speeds are on a separated button, in frontage. To engage them, it is necessary to position the higher adjustment speed on speed 1/25. Beside figure 1/25, a small “s” indicates "slow" speeds. The armament is coupled with film advance.
With the age, the ring of the apertures is very hard to turn, which, inevitably, unscrews the lens.
