Chronology of cameras Aldi
The Aldi Traveler DC-6900 is a simple camera made easier to use by a wheel to select major 'modes'. These include auto, program, portrait, landscape, sports, low light, camera settings and video. There is an on/off button in the centre of the wheel. There are no other subject 'modes' available. The 3X zoom has a more useful range than some of its competitors.
It was distributed by Aldi Sud.
Aldi is a German supermarket chain known for its low prices. Originally, there was a family grocery store taken over by two brothers, Theodor and Karl Albrecht. The name is a contraction of ALbrecht DIskont. The chain has expanded significantly since the 1980s, and now there are several thousand stores selling food and non-food products in many countries, always at low prices and often under their own brand.
