Chronology of cameras Fujifilm
With the iX-1, Fujifilm ventured down a dead-end path. The design was daring but not very ergonomic, and its features were reminiscent of a webcam: no card reader, very limited internal memory, and a fixed-focus lens, sensor CMOS.
Its advantage was being very lightweight and inexpensive (89 euros). It could be held vertically in the fist, and the shutter could be triggered with the right thumb.
This type of camera would soon be replaced by the early smartphones with camera functionality.
