Chronology of cameras Camera Corp of America

The last models of Perfex 55 do not have any more a exctintometer. One can suppose that such an item was completely outdated and gave a side “has been” to the cameras.
Its handling without instructions manual is… strange. It is often given for “broken down” because of its roller-blind shutter. I was thus not too much astonished not to be able to make the release, nor to cock the shutter. I pressed in vain on the button of shutter release without consequence… until I realize that the upper part of the concentric button is an hiding cover protecting it. Once this one unscrewed, appears the button of the shutter release, which answers at the first attempt. Who says release says possible cocking becoming again possible while turning the button around the shutter release. Speeds are engraved in very small characters on the basis of this one. Surprised, they go from 1/5 to 1/1250. Slow speeds (1 to 5) are on the front face.
The telemetric centring is not very practical. In the bottom of a green rectangle, is trotted a square not coloured, the unit which trains a kind of T. Certainly, it is very contrasted, but time to find the square, to move it, the subject to be photographed left.
The lens is interchangeable with screw.
