The Jiffy Vest-Pocket is very close to the Bantam 6.3, although a little longer. The reason for the coexistence in the range of two so close cameras is understandable if we take into account the film format used by each of them. The Jiffy is a Vest-Pocket, it uses the format 127 that has many fans for quite a few years, while the Bantam uses the film of the same name (format 828) that only exists since 1935 and with which it remains to convince customers. Kodak is taking no chances and sells in parallel both models.
Closed, it is a kind of black soap, ready to justify its name by being dropped into a jacket pocket. The opening button is placed under the camera, you cannot miss it, It is the only one together with the film advance knob.
Two small zippers like "I tear my nails when it is seized up" are located next to the shutter release button, ie behind the upper edge of the front panel. The smallest is the time/Instant selector. It is engraved with a tiny B. The other, larger, is engraved with a D, presumably for Diaphragm, because it is used to switch from an aperture to another.
