There exist at least two variants of this model. The other has the metal parts of the hood painted in white. It has especially an interest for the identification, because around the lens is engraved “Cosinon”, which informs us about the origin of this Carena.
Our black variant does not have this inscription. On the edge of the flange is engraved 38 mm F:2.7-EE F, but not the brand of the lens.

The control of exposure is entirely programmed. Once the sensitivity adjusted, the cell determines the necessary couple speed/aperture. It is indicated in the viewfinder, by a double scaler located on the right.

The exposure with the flash is facilitated thanks to the Flashmatic system. By disengaging the ring of selection of the all automatic mode of exposure, it is possible to select the number-guide of the flash connected to the camera. The ring of the distances is then coupled with that of the NG. The rotation of the ring of the distances is not possible that between two cuts-off of distance giving an area of correct exposure. Between these two cuts-off, the change of the distance from focusing determines the aperture, speed always remaining at the 1/25.

This small telemetric is solid, all manufactured out of metal. A glass protects the lens and the lens of cell. It is easy to use. Its focal distance and its aperture allow him a large field of use. The memorizing of the exposure by pressure on the shutter release is a plus.
