F65 is the substitute of F60.
It is located at the bottom of the range of the Nikon cameras of the moment. Its price was to attract the beginners and to compete with Canon Eos 300.
Some of its features are not less common to the rest of the range, even at the highest level: Although this camera is light, the bayonet is out of metal and thus authorizes the use of any objective of the brand. The sensor of the autofocus system is the same one as on F-80. Rather rare, on a camera of entry of range, there is a tester of depth of field.
The viewfinder is very good, very luminous.
