False, Yes, It is a fake
The prism on the top is false, since the aiming is direct. The film winding wheel (left in photo) is only used to decorate the frame counter, since the advance of the film is done with the wheel on the back of the cover. This is only a molding effect as it does not rotate.
The ring around the lens is graduated with weather symbols and apertures figures. The position of the symbols compared to the figures is inconsistent and also when turning the ring .... nothing happens.
In hand, the unit is heavy, which is probably due to a lead pig hidden in the base of the unit.
There is still something extraordinary in this unit. The film press is screwed to the back when it could easily have been molded with it. Labor costs nothing?
