Chronology of cameras Cadot
In 1895, Henryk Sienkiewicz published for the first time the historical novel "Quo Vadis." Thanks to this novel, its author received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1905. During the same period, Cadot manufactured several cameras whose names reference Rome. A passing trend?
According to the General Directory of Photography from 1898:

Models of the II series are mounted with nuts at the pace of the congress, operate with the bulb and by hand, have variable focus and speeds. The lenses have iris diaphragms. These devices are guaranteed to be flawlessly executed.
