A la Photokina 1972, le style du Cambo TWR 54, à défaut d'être innovant, est inhabituel. Il y a deux chambres, l'une sous l'autre. Une est dédiée à la mise au point et au cadrage, alors que l'autre n'est là que pour la prise de vue.
Le déclencheur se trouve sur la poignée.
En 1972, sans objectif, cet appareil valait 2359 ht.... une fortune.
