Le corps du Minute 16 est totalement en métal, avec un fini "poli".
Très simple, il possède cependant un réglage d'ouvertures à trois positions, f 6,3, f 11, f 16. Une autre particularité réside dans le contact caché au fond du trou fileté, sous le boîtier, pour l'utilisation d'un flash spécial. Celui-ci sert aussi à la mise en place d'un éventuel trépied.
A noter que l'appareil utilisait des cassettes spéciales Universal, sur film 16 mm et donnant des vues 11 x 14 mm.
