This toy camera has no other purpose than its novelty... It uses Instapack and accepts a flash that attaches directly to the head with two pins. The shutter release is operated by a lever in front of the right ear, whereas on a previous model, the ear itself served as the shutter release. A third model used flash cubes.
Excerpt from the instruction manual attached to the back of the ear: "6 - Treat me gently, I'm your pal."
