Chronology of cameras Cadot
This is Jean-Loup Princelle who put me on the track of the manufacturer Cadot for this uncommon magazine camera. It seems that the shift type magazine cameras are a specialty of this manufacturer which proposed several such models in its catalogs.
This type of device could correct receding prospects for photographs of monuments in height. It has two tripod sockets. To set the apparatus in the horizontal direction, the shift does not have any utility.
This camera is missing the small screw that blocks the front panel for the value of the selected shift. The value of the shift is possible between zero and two centimeters. Here, no way to view the effect on a ground glass, so the perspective correction is to "estimate", the experience of the photographer in this case being a sign of good success.
