Il s'agit d'un Cosina CT-9 modifié pour intégrer la gamme Carena. Sur ce modèle, le réglage manuel de la vitesse se fait par deux boutons (augmentation ou diminution de la vitesse) occupant chacun la moitié de la surface du sélecteur circulaire de mode.
