Le Chinon Auto GLX est le petit frère de l'Auto 1001, il a les caractéristiques de ce modèle présenté simultanément à la Kina de 1986, mais en moins bien. : objectif moins lumineux, gamme de sensibilités utilisable en DX moins étendue, plage de couplage du posemètre plus étroite, rembobinage non automatique en fin de film.
