Chronology of cameras Carena
The Carena brand is registered in the early 1950s by Coop, a Swiss distribution group resulting from the merger of several companies.
It concerns photographic equipment. It is renewed several times by Coop, then by Interdiscount, a subsidiary of Coop specializing in the sale of electronic and photographic equipment.
Interdiscount was created in 1970 and relies on a dense network of branches. In 1973, there were 42 branches throughout Switzerland. Abroad, Interdiscount relies on existing networks. In Germany, in the early 1980s, Interdiscount acquired shares in the struggling company Photo Porst.
This camera is also found under the name Regula 510 Tele and Concord 110 TEF, and presumably others. We can deduce that the manufacturer is Concord.
It dates back to 1984, the year it was introduced at the Photokina in Cologne.
It is a pocket camera with an integrated electronic flash and equipped with a "tele" position. The standard lens is a 32mm with an aperture of 9.5. A close-up lens allows it to be transformed into a 42mm with an aperture of 8. The viewfinder adjusts accordingly.
