Chronology of cameras Agfa
The name Standard was used by Agfa to designate both cameras and folding cameras.
The folding cameras are cameras with a 6 x 9 or 6.5 x 11 format. Each model is identified by a code that indicates its size, lens and shutter.

This folding camera is a large model, measuring nearly 20 centimeters in height. This is due to the format of the Agfa D6 film which produces negatives of 6.5 x 11 cm. It is also heavy, weighing 780 grams. It is hard to believe that it is made of aluminum (covered with leather). Suffice it to say that when the viewfinder is deployed, this camera takes up a lot of space on the shelf!
There is also a smaller and lighter version of the Standard with a format of 6 x 9 cm (Type 254).
The Standards have a fairly rare convenience for the time: the settings scales (speeds, apertures, and distances) are all located above the shutter. During overhead viewing, they are therefore easily readable. The lens and shutter form a solid unit. The distance is adjusted by moving the entire unit using a slider located on the periphery of the unit. The slider for choosing the shutter speed moves above the Agfa logo. On the other hand, choosing the aperture is not very easy because the slider for this is located between the shutter/lens unit and the metal part that terminates the bellows. When the distance is set to infinity, the aperture slider becomes almost inaccessible, as the shutter/lens unit integrates into the end of the bellows.
The shutter speed ranges from half a second to 1/100 sec, plus B (1 time) and T (2 times) poses.
