Chronology of cameras Nikon
This camera was known in north America as the Zoom - Touch 500 and it was Nikon's first zoom compact, not to be confused with the TW Zoom 35-80.
It can take continuous frames (including two on self timer), it has a 'mode' to go directly from 35 mm to 80 mm, and three critical focus 'modes' for portraits. The flash can operate automatically or be forced on or off. There are only five focal lengths available, three of them unspecified.
The date/time function is powered independently of the camera body by a button battery. It was also available without the date back.
